Braille
Our Braille module decodes and compares Braille from PDF files and from scanned packaging materials. It measures and checks the dot height of Braille.
The module checks all aspects of Braille in accordance with applicable standards, even in different languages. The check can be carried out independently or in combination with the print image check.
Braille is particularly important in pharmaceutical packaging and is difficult to test. Our system recognises and measures the Braille dots in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the pharmaceutical market.
Braille scanner
The Braille module includes a special scanner that creates a three-dimensional profile of the Braille dots and determines their height. Our software recognises the Braille in various languages (e.g. Marburg Medium) and compares it with the information in the PDF file.
Braille checking is only available in the MediaCheck workflow.
